Why doesn't Gold Crown use MIPS?
MIPS is one technology designed to help manage rotational forces during certain impacts. We've repeatedly reached out to MIPS for over a year to explore licensing and integrating their technology into Gold Crown helmets, but despite multiple attempts, we haven't been able to establish a conversation with their team.
We wanted to be transparent about our efforts.
